Gouf Ignited (yzak jule custom) HG Gundam Seed by Bandai

This was OOB and all done with the most basic of tools, cutter, knife, sandpaper.

The kit was completed in about 2 and a half hours, so id recommend these as a great lil off bench/slump buster and ill defiantly be packing a couple in my luggage next time I have to go stay with the in-laws

Right, the box

A frame of parts for the base, a bag with metal rods and 2 frames of polycaps which make for easy assembly and allow the kit movement when finished.

Frame A - Weapons, torso etc. If you have not seen a gundam runner it is not unusual to see parts of multiple colours on the same runner.

Frame B - armour parts and head etc

Frame C - mostly wings and feet

Right, the first couple of steps gave me a shield, head and torso

Then the left and right arms, you can see the poly cap in the shoulder and the movement in the elbow

Legs, that will move at the hips, knees and ankles

The hip area with 'skirts' that move to allow greater range of poses

Sword done and its basically done


Backpack done with pose able wings

And on the display base


Obviously there is a lot more that can be done to this. Paint, seam removal etc.

The only really thing ill do is add some panel lines with a fine tip gundam marker and a normal eraser to remove excess, you can see the improvement it makes to the shield.

The temptation became to much so this is gonna get more work.
Seams have got some tamiya extra thin glue and a lil sanding where required
All the panel lines have been done with a fine tip Gundam marker
Parts now ready for some clear/satin coat

Hard to tell in photo but the arm on the left has had a coat of Army Painter Satin Varnish to knock back the plastic shine


It makes a big difference to the final kit. More pics coming soon
